Brian “Glaze” Gibbs shares a story about the time a rival gangster plotted to have him murdered. His rival was said to have allegedly ordered the murder of Kelvin Martin, also known as the original 50 Cent. Kelvin is primarily known as the inspiration for the name of the rapper, 50 Cent.
Brian “Glaze” Gibbs is a former Brooklyn drug kingpin and enforcer for Queens, New York, drug lord Lorenzo “Fat Cat” Nichols. By the age of 22 years old Brian was head of his own crew which he initialed M&M (Money & Murder).
From 1987 to 1998 detectives believed Glaze was averaging one murder per week. He was also the prime suspect in the 1988 murder of Police Officer Edward Byrne.
However Glaze now regrets his past actions which in his own words he says “wrecked havoc on my community”. He has since released three books (two audio books) and is working on a documentary about his life. In the meantime he shares his street stories on the internet in an attempt to encourage others not to follow in his footsteps.
