In the year 2000, 50 Cent was shot outside his grandmother’s home in Queens, New York, while sitting in a friend’s car. He miraculously survived thanks to the quick actions of his friend JU who drove him to the emergency room. During the ambush JU was shot in the hand, but 50 Cent took the brunt of the shots.
