Lou speaks on his friendship with Black Just, Azie and the origins of Mob Style. He also gives his thoughts on other Harlem legends from the streets and the music world.

Mob Style was an hip hop group from Harlem, New York, consisting of rappers Azie, Pretty Tone Capone, Gangster Lou and Whip Wop.

The group were one of the first hip hop artists to release albums independently with 1990’s The Good, the Bad, the Ugly and 1992’s Game of Death.

The Album: The Good, the Bad, the Ugly 

Many regard Mob Style as one of the first New York gangster rap groups. In the 1980s, the groups leader Azie Faison was one of the biggest drug dealers in Harlem, New York. Azie’s life is loosely documented in the cult classic movie Paid In Full.
